World Class

I made my virgin trip to WC in Laugar today, for those of you that are not familiar this is the new all inclusive gym in Iceland. It is absolutely gigantic, today when I was running after my workout I counted about 57 treadmills before I got to tired to count more.

I went all out and bought the one year pass immediately, felt kind of weird because it was one of those moments that underlined the fact that im not going to come back to Hungary in the fall. I must say that I had mixed feelings about it.

Went to look at an apartment today and it was ok, small and cosy in a pretty good location down town. But sure I found a serious downside, which is that the apartment is not certified. This basically means that its a lot more expensive since I will not be able to get fund from the government on a unapproved apartment. That was not exactly what I wanted to hear, so I dont know what will happen with that. Paying kr. 65,000 per month all out of my own pocket didnt really rub me the right way...

I have another apt. that will be available September 01, which is right by the hospital, that looks better but just the fact that its about 2 months away is not the best. I mean I could stay at home and just drive back and forth, takes me about 45 min each way. Not the way I had envisioned it but it´s one solution to the problem.

I will start at the hospital on Monday and Im getting ready for some great experiences... Im sure once I get going everything will start to fall into place...
