What has been going on...
I excuse my lazyness for the past few days, so here goes a summary of what has happened in chronological order:
Monday:
I start the hospital again in the Gastroenterology ward with my classmate Joel, Ingunn the hot assistant doctor and an interesting specialist who made everything more intersting.
Tuesday:
I go to the emergency room to admit a patient, in the chaos that is there I decide to take care of the blood test before moving him to the ward, NEEDLE PRICK !!!!
I felt like such a dumb ass fucker for poking myself with a used needle, in my defense it was a tricky situation but at the end of the day there I was with a bleeding index finger... So that whole process gets going, my blood was drawn, notification and so on... I was even a little defensive and pissed off when everyone was telling me what to do...
Wednesday:
I have personal clinic and present my case in front of the group, which went well except for the fact the specialist was not by my side as he should have. Got a good grade anyway...
Now to the shittiest part ever...
I receive an e-mail from my girlfriend stating that she is not comming to iceland to live with me, this is 4 days before she was supposed to arrive, most definety the shittiest thing anyone has ever done on my part.
That was the end of that... Im single again
I get home and start feeling really sick, seems I caught some kind of gastroenteritis and spent the whole evening and nite throwing up my duodenum, jejunum, ileum and possibly a part of my colon through out the nite, Horrible
Thursday
A day of recovery
Friday
Back to the hospital and then off to Kef for my weekend shifts at the hospital. Of course on the way there an enormus snow storm hits the road and I barely make the 42km journey. Just blinding snow and freezing cold all over the place.
Saturday
Working which is not bad, i like what i do at the hospital, except for the fact they dont have the decency to pay me sufficient amounts of mone for my hard work...
Today
Working and now finally home in time for some studying. I have a big practical exam in Internal Medicine on the 26th of this month.
So all in all a pretty shitty week, I cant imagine but the weeks ahead will be much better and I will just build myself a big snow house and move in there since my landlord decided to raise my rent kr.20,000 per month. Im getting the fuck out of here as soon as this test is over. I dont know where yet but all that will come clear soon, I feel confident that my luck is bound to change.
